Intel introduces 9th Gen Mobile H-series processor for laptops, Intel i9 9900k का सच1

Intel Core i9-9980HK

The first of the three new CPUs is the 9th Gen Intel Core i9-9980HK processor and is meant to be similar to the desktop processor but in a mobile form factor. It has a base clock speed of 2.4GHz and can be clocked up to 5GHz. Also, it is the first Intel Core i9 mobile processor with up to 5 GHz with Intel Thermal Velocity Boost, 8 cores, and 16 threads, and have the support of 16MB of Intel Smart Cache. It has support for 128GB of DDR4-2666 RAM across two channels.

Intel Core i9-9980H

The Core i9-9980H is slightly lower compared to the 9980HK with a base clock speed of 2.3GHz and a maximum turbo boost speed of 4.8GHz. It has support for 128GB of DDR4-2666 RAM across two channels.

Intel Core i7-9850H and Intel Core i7-9750H

The Core i7-9850H which is partially unlocked has a maximum turbo speed of 4.6GHz and the core i7-9750H runs at 2.6GHz-4.5GHz. It has support for 128GB of DDR4-2666 RAM across two channels. Both the CPUs have 6 cores, 12 threads along with 12MB of cache and 45W TDP ratings.

Intel Core i5-9400H and Intel Core i5-9300H

The Core i5-9400H comes with a base speed of 2.9GHz, Turbo Boost frequency of up to 4.1 GHz and the Core i5-9300H has a maximum turbo speed of 4.1GHz. Both the models have 8 cores, 8 threads along with 8MB of cache memory.  It has support for 128GB of DDR4-2666 RAM across two channels.

The 9th Gen H-series processors come with new Intel Optane memory H10 with QLC NAND SSD, Thunderbolt 3, integrated Wi-Fi 6 and USB 3.1 Gen 2 controllers.

Intel 9th Gen desktop processors

Along with the H-series mobile processors, Intel also launched the 9th Gen Intel Core desktop processors which now includes more than 25 products in total ranging from Intel Core i3 up to Intel Core i9. The new desktop processor has up to 8 cores and 16 threads, up to 5 GHz maximum turbo frequency, up to 16 MB Intel Smart Cache and up to 40 platform PCIe lanes.

The 9th Gen Intel Core is mobile processors are said to have up to 33% overall performance leap compared with a 3-year-old PC and up to 28% increased responsiveness. The mobile processors are aimed at gamers and Intel says that the performance is optimized on battery and support for multi-Gigabit Wi-Fi speed with Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 should deliver a great experience. Apart from this, the new desktop CPUs are said to provide up to 2.1 times faster video editing and up to 47% more FPS while gaming.

Availability

Laptops powered by the 9th Gen Intel Core mobile processors will launch from OEMs including Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and MSI, starting today, April 23, 2019.

Microsoft DNA Data Storage | Breakthrough Research- what is it and how ...

Breakthrough Research from #Microsoft on DNA based storage invention that aims to replace warehouse sized  #DATACENTERS to small sized box #MicrosoftTeams #Microsoft Hello Friends Researchers from the University of Washington and Microsoft have demonstrated the first fully automated system to store and retrieve data in manufactured DNA — a key step in moving the technology out of the research lab and into commercial data centers. In a simple proof-of-concept test, the team successfully encoded the word “hello” in snippets of fabricated DNA and converted it back to digital data using a fully automated end-to-end system, which is described in a new paper published March 21 in Nature Scientific Reports. In its first run, the $10,000 prototype converted "HELLO" into DNA. The device first encoded the bits (1's and 0's) into DNA sequences (A's, C's, T's, G's). It then synthesized the DNA and stored it as a liquid. Next, the stored DNA was read by

INTEL's Cool 3 in 1 Foldable Laptop Desktop

Intel’s #foldable laptop opens up to a 17-inch OLED display with thin bezels making it function like a giant tablet. When folded the laptop essentially acts as a dual-screen laptop. As seen in the product video,  Intel Horseshoe Bend  looks like you’re holding a big textbook especially when you’re scrolling through the laptop. When in tablet format, the Intel Horseshoe Bend can be used with a compatible keyboard. This detachable keyboard is designed to fit into the device when folded. Intel says that Horshoe Bend can be used in different postures like laptop, all-in-one, lay-flat, canvas and book. There’s also a kickstand to support the laptop when fully opened up. Possibly the most interesting posture is the traditional laptop style where users can make full use of the display which stretches from top to bottom.
